The Eveleigh Markets are back on again starting on the 28th Feb from 8am until 1pm and then every Saturday after that. I’m looking forward to it, so many tasty things!

2009 is here and I am eager for the markets to start up again. Here is a brief run down on when all those lovely growers will be back at a market near you.
10th-31st Jan Sydney Festival
Saturday 17 Jan Parramatta Farmers Market, Church Street Mall 8am-1pm
Friday 23 Jan Hawkesbury Harvest Farmers and Fine Food Market: Cook & Phillip Sq, Sydney (St Mary’s Cathedral next to Hyde Park)
Saturday 24 Jan Hawkesbury Harvest: Rouse Hill (20 mins north of Parramatta) am
Saturday 7 Feb Good Living Growers Market Pyrmont 7am-11am
Saturday 14 Feb Hawkesbury Harvest: Castle Hill 8am-12pm

It is the final Good Living Growers Market this Saturday morning (6th Dec) for 2008. The next one after this is in February 2009, so if you were thinking of going to pick up a few edible Christmas presents then I recommend getting there early, at 7am if you are an early bird, or at least 8am if you can’t face such an early start. These days it is packed by 8am, and I predict even more so as it is pre-Christmas!
The Hawkesbury Harvest Market is the weekend after (13th Dec) at Castle Hill which coincides with the Eveleigh Market, see previous post.
